‘Predator: Killer of Killers’ – Everything About the New Animated Movie

Another exciting year of ‘Predator’ has come in action.
The live-action film ‘Predator: Badlands,’ the next surprise addition to the ‘Predator’ franchise, is set to debut in theaters in November. In April, a thrilling teaser for the animated movie ‘Predator: Killer of Killers’ was made public.
In an interview back in October 2024, 20th Century Studios CEO Steve Asbell alluded to the release of two ‘Predator’ movies in 2025. The recently revealed animation project, in addition to ‘Badlands’, is co-directed by Josh Wassung and Dan Trachtenberg, who is known for ‘Prey’ (2022).

Three distinct tales of alien hunters and warriors from various eras of history are told in this animated anthology film. The story revolves around a WWII pilot looking into an odd aerial threat, a Japanese ninja battling his samurai brother for dominance during the feudal era, and a Viking raider leading her son on a quest of retaliation. These warriors have no idea that they are going to face the most powerful hunters in the universe.
Like ‘Prey’, which was set in the 1700s, this new installment is set prior to the 1987 original ‘Predator’ movie, which also explores historical locales.
On 6th June, 2025, the movie will be released exclusively on Hulu, becoming the second ‘Predator’ movie to do so after ‘Prey’.

A significant turning point for the franchise was the popularity of ‘Prey’, which followed a Comanche woman named Naru as she faced off against a ‘Predator’ in the 1700s. Expectations for ‘Killer of Killers’ were raised by the prequel, which became Hulu’s largest premiere to date.
Michael Biehn, Louis Ozawa, Rick Gonzalez, and Lindsay LaVanchy are among the voice actors. While Biehn is well known for his parts as Hicks in ‘Aliens’ and Kyle Reese in ‘The Terminator’, Ozawa has previously starred in ‘Predators’ (2010). Gonzalez has also been in films like ‘Arrow’ and ‘War of the Worlds’.

Yes, the official trailer, which featured violent confrontations in three historical settings—Viking-era Scandinavia, feudal Japan, and World War II—was released on 8th April. They must destroy it before it kills them all, a Viking fighter says to her son, who is old enough to understand the terrible threat they face.
During a press conference, Trachtenberg talked about how animation gave the movie a distinctive look, calling it a chance to explore artistic possibilities while preserving the violent action that has come to define the brand.
In addition to ‘Killer of Killers’, the ‘Alien vs. Predator’ universe is growing with the release of the much-awaited ‘Predator: Badlands’ in theaters on November and ‘Alien: Earth’, a limited series that will debut on Hulu this summer.
