Psy Releases The Music Video For ‘Celeb,’ Which Features Bae Suzy

Psy has released the music video for his song ‘Celeb,’ which features former Miss A member Bae Suzy.

The bizarre video, which features both Bae and Psy executing the choreography in the middle of a Psy-themed amusement park, was released at midnight KST on 4th May. In another scene in the video, Bae attends a private party where she is the ‘celeb’ of the night.

‘Celeb’ is a track from Psy’s ninth full-length album, ‘Psy 9th,’ which was his first since a five-year hiatus from the music industry.

‘Celeb’ and its music video were first premiered in person nearly three years ago at Psy’s ‘Summer Swag 2019’ gig, when it was disclosed that the song was co-written and composed by Psy and rapper Zico. However, the song’s inclusion in ‘Psy 9th’ marks the first official release of the song.

Aside from ‘Celeb,’ Psy’s new album includes a few other collaborations, including ‘Happier,’ featuring singer Crush and a remix of Jermaine Jackson and Pia Zadora’s 1984 hit track ‘When The Rain Begins To Fall,’ with MAMAMOO member Hwasa. To add to it is, the title single ‘That That,’ which features and was produced by BTS’ Suga.

Psy quit longtime agency YG Entertainment in 2018, post the release of his eighth full-length album, ‘Psy 8th 4X2=8’. In early 2019, he founded his own label, P Nation, to which he signed former PENTAGON member DAWN and Korean-American rapper and singer Jessi and HyunA the same year.
