PSY Unveils Animated Teaser For New Track ‘Happier’, Featuring Crush
PSY, a South Korean musician, has released a teaser for his new song ‘Happier,’ which features Crush, a K-R&B singer-songwriter.
As a snippet of the song plays, the animated teaser chronicles the life of a man from birth, who loses sight of happiness as he grows older, panting as he desperately attempts to keep up with the rat race.
“I wanna be happier / I wanted to be someone’s love / I wanted to be proud,” the duo sing in the short clip. ‘Happier’ will be the eighth track of Psy’s upcoming comeback record, ‘Psy 9th’.
Psy 9th will be released on 29th April and will mark the singer’s return to music after a five-year hiatus. One song at a time, the celebrity will reveal the album’s track list. Apart from Crush, the album will feature five additional musicians, according to his most partial track list graphic.
He has also released a new teaser video for ‘Everyday,’ the tenth song on the upcoming 12-track album. The teaser contained vintage footage of the singer’s previous shows’ attendees.
The singer quit longtime agency YG Entertainment a year after the release of his eighth full-length album, ‘Psy 8th 4X2=8,’ in 2017. In early 2019, Psy launched his own record label, P Nation, and recruited Korean-American rapper and singer Jessi, HyunA, and former PENTAGON member DAWN to the label.
Crush, Heize, Penomeco, and Swings are among the other renowned South Korean stars presently represented by P Nation. The agency has already stated that its first boyband will launch later this year.
