PUP’s New Single ‘Totally Fine’ Has A Corporate Vibe

PUP has released ‘Totally Fine,’ a lively, tongue-in-cheek song from their next album, ‘THE UNRAVELING Of PUPTHEBAND.’

“We wrote ‘Totally Fine’ after a long creative drought,” commented front man Stefan Babcock in a statement. “We all agreed to take a break from PUP during the lockdown, to take some time to deal with our mental health, and get some space from each other.

“The drumming on this song still blows our minds. It’s so manic and wild and makes the song feel like it’s about to fall apart at any moment, which is kinda like how it feels to be in PUP.”

‘Totally Fine’ is accompanied by a dramatic music video in which the band portrays music to pursue “evil” corporate ventures.

‘Robot Writes A Love Song,’ ‘Matilda,’ and ‘Waiting’ are among the singles released so far by the Canadian punk band.

PUP will embark on a North American tour next month, coinciding with the release of their new album. In July, they’ll go on an Australian tour, followed by a UK and Ireland tour in October.
