Pusha T and Nigo Teamed Up For a New Collaboration ‘Hear Me Clearly’
The song, which clocks in at little under two minutes and fifty seconds, has a chorus that samples Jay- Z’s verse from Rick Ross’ 2010 tune ‘Free Mason.’ Pusha T shared the artwork for the song on Twitter. It’s a basic polaroid of the rapper signed by Nigo and inscribed with the words ‘Day Uno Family’ in the corner.
‘Hear Me Clearly’ follows the singles ‘Want It Bad’ with Kid Cudi and ‘Arya’ with A$AP Rocky, which were both released previously. All of these songs are from Nigo’s upcoming album, ‘I Know NIGO,’ which will be released on 25th March.
Nigo, the fashion superstar, announced the details of his new album on Instagram in December. Pharrell Williams, Kid Cudi, A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Pusha T, Tyler, the Creator, Fam-Lay, and Teriyaki Boyz are among the artists who will appear on the album, with more to be announced.
Nigo originally revealed the album’s arrival on 4th December, saying that he’d signed to Steven Victor’s Victor Victor Worldwide label, a joint venture between Victor and Universal Music Group.
Nigo has long been interested in and associated with the world of music. Outside of his career, he is the founder of the streetwear brand ‘A Bating Ape’. He is the DJ for Teriyaki Boyz, a hip hop group that released their debut album ‘Beef or Chicken’ in 2005 and followed it up with ‘Serious Japanese’ in 2009.
Williams on ‘Cho L A R G E’ and ‘Work That!’, and Pusha T and Fam-Lay on a remix of ‘Tokyo Drift (Fast & Furious)’ are just a few of the musicians who will be included on Nigo’s upcoming album.
