The pop music industry is always buzzing with new music and collaborations. But, lately, artists have been joining hands and hopping onto remixes of some chart-topping hits. 

Here is a rundown of some of the biggest remixes to hit the shelves this year.

1. Say So – Doja Cat ft. Nicki Minaj 

Talk about star power remixes. Doja Cat’s massively popular debut single “Say So” swept the charts with a face lift courtesy of Nicki Minaj. The song that initially went viral on Tik Tok, featured fellow rapper Nicki Minaj with a brand new verse and added vocals from Doja Cat. Achieving No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, a first for both artists, the track offers the perfect balance of the original and something new. 

2. Good As Hell – Lizzo ft. Ariana Grande

Take two of the biggest stars in the world right now, and you’ve got one of the coolest remixes in the game. Ariana Grande hopped onto a feature on Lizzo’s smash hit “Good as Hell”, and provided the ultimate, soulful self-care anthem we all needed. Complete with Ariana’s jazzy vocals, and Lizzo’s sassy delivery, this track is all you need to take the day by the horns. 

3. In Your Eyes – The Weeknd ft. Doja Cat

The Weeknd has seen some big numbers with his latest releases. With his tracks “Heartless”, “Blinding Lights” and “In Your Eyes” conquering the charts all on their own, you’d think he’d slow down. But, the R&B star joined hands with one of the biggest female rappers in the game right now – Doja Cat. She features on one of the hottest remixes in the game right now with a new version of “In Your Eyes”. 

4. Savage – Megan Thee Stallion ft. Beyonce

Megan Thee Stallion has been tasting the sweetness of superstardom with her tracks “Hot Girl Summer” and “Savage” sweeping the charts. Well, her Houston counterpart, and superstar in her own right – Beyonce, featured on a remix of the track, taking it to new heights. Proving to be one of the more powerful remixes of the year, “Savage” ft. Beyonce debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, setting a new record for Stallion. 

5. My Oh My – Camila Cabello ft. DaBaby and Gunna

My Oh My by Camila Cabello ft. DaBaby continues to hold on tight to the charts. And while the original features an artist, the remix shows up with star power to carry it forward. Featuring rapper ‘Gunna‘, the track gets a groovy do-over, making it one of the cooler remixes in town.
