Ricardo Montaner to Start Touring Again in 2022

Ricardo Montaner used the Corona Virus pandemic and the lockdown as a time to value and reflect on himself and his work. It is believed that the toughest part for him was not being able to sing on stage for his fans but being stuck at home instead.

Fed up of this separation Montaner decided to do things on his own and so he connected with his followers via two live streams recorded from Altos de Chavón in the Dominican Republic.
One of the live streams featured his artist children.
The Venezuelan singer held his first ever virtual concert on November 28th 2020, when he performed live with his entire band from the Altos de Chavón Amphitheater and the whole performance was live-streamed all over the world.
Reports say that his second virtual concert took place on July 31st 2021; it was produced and coordinated from Argentina and the Dominican Republic. This was a very special concert since it included his children Mau y Ricky, Evaluna, and her husband, Camilo who is also a singer-songwriter. The concert began with five artists performing the famous song “Amen” and it was followed by unexpected surprises when there was a mixture of duets, trios, solos, Montaner with Evaluna, Evaluna with Camilo, Mau and Ricky with Camilo, among other combinations.

Talking to Billboard Montaner said, “The virtual concerts are incredible. They have an immeasurable scope, phenomenal. But nothing compares to the energy of seeing an audience face-to-face.”
Montaner was responsible for some of Latin pop’s biggest hits like “Tan Enamorados”, “Me Va a Extrañar” and “Dejame Llorar” among many others.
This Latin Pop Star announced his 2022 Montaner U.S. tour exclusively on Billboard on the 31st of July.
The Montaner Tour is set to kick off at Miami’s FTX Arena on January 21st 2022 and it will end on February 18th, 2022 at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater. Some of the cities that are a part of the tour are Atlanta, Houston and New York.
Montaner says, “There will be many surprises and spontaneous elements on this tour.” He will sing all of his fan-favorite songs. “If I don’t sing certain songs, my fans won’t allow me to leave the stage.”
While Montaner will only be touring America for now, he has confirmed that his show will soon reach Europe and Latin America, including Mexico, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, and Colombia.
“I’m incomplete without the applauds of my fans,” he claims. “The contact with the public has perhaps been the basis and the secret for such a long and fruitful career and relationship.”
