BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars shared several Instagram posts from a recent night out, sparking speculation about a possible collaboration. On October 16, Rosé posted a polaroid photo on Instagram, featuring her sitting beside Bruno Mars, accompanied by a caption that read…
“the night i taught bruno how to play a korean drinking game”.
Mars soon responded to the post, commenting: “So much fun! Remember when you tried to kiss me? that was weird. Other than that sick pic!”
A few hours later, Bruno Mars posted a black-and-white photo from the same evening, humorously captioning that he was “hanging on for dear life” after Rosé taught him a Korean drinking game, which left him feeling “saucy.”
“Soon after, she tried to kiss me, and I was like ‘woah Rosie! what part of the game is this?’ She was like, ‘I ain’t playin games wit you anymore lil boy! Big Rosie bout that BIDNESS!’,” he teased in the caption. “Shaken, I replied ‘stop Rosie, I’m scared!’ But other than that, super chill night.”
Although Rosé and Bruno Mars haven’t officially confirmed a collaboration, their posts have ignited rumours of one in the works. Interestingly, Rosé recently signed with Atlantic Records, the same label as Mars, as well as artists like Ed Sheeran and Charli XCX, for her forthcoming solo projects.
Earlier this month, the Korean-Australian singer revealed that her debut solo studio album, titled ‘rosie’, is set to be released on 6th December.
“I have poured my blood and tears into this album. I cannot wait for you to listen to this little journal of mine,” she wrote.
The singer also created a new “finsta” account, @vampirehollie, where she and her team will post updates about her upcoming solo music. Recently, the account began sharing images featuring the number one, prompting fans to speculate that she is preparing to release something on 1st November.
In related news, BLACKPINK’s Jennie made her return with the solo single ‘Mantra’ last week, marking her first release in over a year since 2023’s ‘You & Me’.
