Sabrina Carpenter Reveals Deluxe Edition of ‘Short N’ Sweet’ With Dolly Parton

Sabrina Carpenter has revealed that a deluxe edition of Short N’ Sweet is on the way—and it includes a collaboration with Dolly Parton.
Sharing the news on social media, the Espresso singer expressed her gratitude to fans for her recent Grammy wins. She mentioned that the deluxe edition of Short N’ Sweet was now available for pre-order and excitedly confirmed that it featured Dolly Parton. She also noted that Parton wouldn’t want her to swear but couldn’t help expressing her excitement.
Set for release on Valentine’s Day (February 14), the deluxe edition will feature Parton on a remix of Please Please Please. Given Parton’s well-known aversion to swearing, it remains to be seen whether the explicit lyrics—including the word “mother****er”—will make the final cut.
Carpenter’s Short N’ Sweet earned multiple nominations at the 2025 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, Song of the Year (Please Please Please), and Record of the Year (Espresso). She walked away with two wins—Best Pop Solo Performance for Espresso and Best Pop Vocal Album for Short N’ Sweet. She also took the stage at the ceremony on February 2, delivering a big-band-inspired medley of Espresso and Please Please Please.
Meanwhile, Dolly Parton is working on a new stage production about her life. In December 2024, she announced an open casting call for Dolly: An Original Musical, which will chronicle her legendary career and feature a mix of her biggest hits alongside brand-new songs written for the show.
