Sadie Sink Joins Tom Holland in ‘Spider-Man 4’ – ‘Stranger Things’ Star Enters the MCU

‘The Stranger Things’ actor Sadie Sink will officially join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a member of the ‘Spider-Man 4’ ensemble, costarring with Tom Holland.
Although her character’s specifics are still unknown, rumours indicate that she will play a big part. According to some rumours, Sink might even play Jean Grey, the formidable X-Men mutant who was portrayed by Sophie Turner and Famke Janssen in the past.
Destin Daniel Cretton, who helmed the first three ‘Spider-Man’ movies, will helm the next episode. Cretton is most renowned for his work on ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’.

Plot and other casting details are being kept under wraps as the film is still in the early stages of development, but back in October 2024, Holland and co-star Zendaya announced that they had read the script and thought it was great, calling it a story that rekindled his love for the franchise and saying that he and Zendaya were excited as they read it.
In the previous instalment, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ (2021), Holland’s Peter Parker unintentionally opened the multiverse, allowing the past Spider-Men Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield into his reality, along with several iconic villains from various cinematic universes. The film was praised for its emotional depth and was a huge success. ‘Spider-Man 4’ is scheduled to be released on 31st July, 2026.
