Sam Smith Teases a Mystery Collab With The Queen of Pop, Madonna!

Sam Smith surprised his fans by releasing a quick preview for their upcoming collaboration with none other than Madonna. The captivating video Madonna released to her social media platforms begins with a blank screen before Smith’s voice breaks through to say “Sam and…” Madonna then enters to murmur her name. Before the teaser abruptly stops, the pair repeats the statement twice more.

Smith opted not to include a caption or any other details about the upcoming song, but even in the absence of a release date or title, admirers and celebrity friends hurried to the singer’s replies to express their excitement over the collaboration with Madonna, which is destined to become iconic.

“LETS F-KIN GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,” wrote Ryan Tedder in all caps while music video director Jake Wilson wrote, “UM WHATTTTTTT” on Instagram. On Twitter, fans declared, “This is about to be a banger,” “THIS DUO OMFG!!!!!” and “Oh bawww laawwwwd the scream i just scrumt.”

‘Gloria’, the most recent album by Smith, was released in late January. The studio collection was preceded by the singles ‘Love Me More,’ ‘Unholy’ with Kim Petras, and ‘Gimme.’ On the day it was released, the pop singer unveiled the defiant music video for the fourth single, ‘I’m Not Here to Make Friends.’ 

After releasing ‘Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones’ last year, Madonna is presently preparing for her upcoming ‘The Celebration Tour’. The hits-only tour celebrating the icon’s forty years in the music business will get underway in Vancouver on 15th July.
