Sara Bareilles Got Engaged to Longtime Boyfriend Joe Tippett

2023 is already a great year for Sara Bareilles and Joe Tippett! Sara Bareilles, who is a musician and starred in ‘Girls5eva’, made this announcement to her fans on the first day of this year. She said “yes to marrying” Joe Tippett, her longtime boyfriend who also starred in ‘Mare of Easttown’.

“You are exactly who I want,” Bareilles wrote about Tippett with a photo of the two of them looking into each other’s eyes with love. The picture shows her wearing a gold band on her left ring finger.

“I was struggling with insecurities about being able to meet the challenge of it and I felt really out of my depth,” Bareilles said earlier in an interview. “And he’s like, ‘If Tina Fey believes that you can do this, why don’t you just trust her? If you can’t find it in yourself, just trust that one of your heroes is not going to put you in a position to fail.’ And that was really good advice.”

She captioned her announcement post as: “The more I know you the more I know I love you…and you have introduced me to parts of myself I was afraid to love. And now I love ME more because of you. So really this is all about me. Just kidding.” She added, “what a gift you are. Let the games begin. Onward into absolutely everything with you.”

The couple also sparked engagement rumours a while back when they celebrated their three-year anniversary and posted it with the caption, “can’t wait for it to be forever.” She later posted a story clarifying that she was not getting married and apologised for making it seem like she was. She also thanked everyone for the beautiful wishes, and now that it’s real and it’s happening, the fans have even more to congratulate them for.
