Selena Gomez Celebrates International Women’s Day With a Message to Her Younger Self!

Selena Gomez has the sweetest message for her younger self on this International Women’s Day! She posted a photo on Instagram and asked her fans to have a moment of mindfulness, and look back at their younger selves. 

“Dear younger me, please don’t be afraid to ask for help,” she captioned the photo where she is posing in a light yellow shirt embroidered with daisies.

“Today is International Women’s Day and I want each of us to be gentler to ourselves,” she added. She also asked her followers to “write your younger self a @RareBeauty #rarereminder and stick it on your mirror to remind yourself that you deserve the world. Love you.”

Not only this, she also added a special message for her fans on Rare Beauty’s official Instagram page. “Something I wish I could tell my younger self is to appreciate the face and body that you have. It may not look like everyone else, but you are who you are, and be proud of that,” she said. A video of Gomez saying this was posted as an Instagram Story asking followers to share the advice they would give to their younger selves.

Selena Gomez’s message comes as no shock to her fans. She has always advocated for kindness. A while ago she requested her TikTok fans to “Please, please be kinder and consider others' mental health.” She also added, “My heart has been heavy and I only want good for everyone. All my love.” This comes amidst the rumoured feud between Gomez and Hailey Bieber.
