Selena Gomez Enters The Billion Club With ‘Lose You to Love Me’ Reaching 1 Billion Spotify Streams 

Amidst the Selena-Hailey-Kylie drama, Selena Gomez is reaching new heights with fans showing her support from all around the world. She has now gained one billion Spotify streams for her track ‘Lose You to Love Me’. She celebrated the milestone on Instagram!

Spotify also posted about it on Instagram, which Gomez re-shared on her Story. “Grateful,” she wrote while sharing the news with her fans.

She has reached a billion views with her previous collaborations like ‘It Ain’t Me’ with Kygo, ‘Wolves’ with Marshmello and ‘Taki Taki’ with DJ Snake, Ozuna and Cardi B. However this is her first solo effort to reach the mark. The song featured in her third studio album ‘Rare’ and marked her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song instantly became a hit and became her first song to top the Streaming Songs chart after its release. 

“When I wrote the song ‘Lose You to Love Me,’ I was kind of a mess,” she said in an interview. “It was really difficult for me. And by the time we shot the music video at the end of the year, it had a completely different meaning, and it was so freeing. It was actually fun for me – I think, because I let it go, it actually meant that I let it go within myself as well. And I couldn’t have asked for a better way to close a chapter in my life.”
