Selena Gomez Hits a Not So “Rare” Billboard #1

Selena Gomez’s “Rare” is the gift that keeps on giving, and who doesn’t like presents?

Gomez dropped her 7th studio album “Rare” on the 10th of January – a follow up to the release of her lead singles “Lose You To Love Me” and “Look At Her Now”. The first earned Gomez her first ever No.1 on the Billboard Hot 200 and the latter gave us a taste of the sound the full length album would come to serve.

“Rare,” complete with 13 songs and features from Kid Cudi and 6lack, is (admittedly) an emotional purge of all of Gomez’s experiences over the past four years.

The album has sold 112,000 copies in a week, vaulting her all the way to the top of the prestigious chart.
