Selena Gomez is Out With Her ‘Past Life’ With Trevor Daniel

Selena Gomez is out with her version of ‘Past Life’ with Trevor Daniel. The pair have joined together on the remix of the track as both seem to connect to the lyrics.

The collaborative track of Trevor Daniel and the ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ singer was announced on Twitter on June 24, 2020 via Selena Gomez‘s Twitter account.

‘Past Life’ talks about letting go of the person who you were in the past and being protective about your current mental health. Apparently, Selena Gomez also agrees to the fact that one can’t hit the delete button on their journey. The song suggests to be a better person to the one’s we’ve used in our journey and holding on to the promise.

Selena Gomez spoke with Daniel about why the song resonated with her. “When I heard the song the first time, I loved the fact that it was kind of like a story about all the things that we tend to hold onto and the patterns that we have,” she said. “And I’m very, very vocal about my personal experiences making decisions that maybe aren’t necessarily healthy for me.”

This year, Selena blessed us with her ‘Rare’ studio album which turned out to be a massive hit. It released on January 10, 2020 and became her third consecutive No.1 album on the Billboard 200. And now, we get her version of this song and we can’t help but ask for more music from her.
