Selena Gomez Stuns in Bow-Adorned Gown and Gloves at ‘Emilia Pérez’ Premiere
Selena Gomez continues to impress with her stunning fashion choices on the red carpet this fall.
The 32-year-old actress and singer made a striking appearance at the New York City premiere of her new film, ‘Emilia Pérez’, alongside co-stars Zoe Saldaña and Karla Sofía Gascón. At the New York Film Festival screening held at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center, Gomez donned an elegant all-black Vera Wang gown featuring a subtle cowl neckline and a dramatic bow at the back, complemented by detachable elbow-length sleeves.
She accessorized her look with sparkling diamond earrings, several shimmering silver rings, and styled her hair into a sleek bun while posing with her co-stars Saldaña, Adriana Paz, Gascón, and Edgar Ramírez. Although Gomez walked the red carpet solo, she was later joined by her boyfriend, Benny Blanco, inside the venue. The couple recently appeared together at the 2024 Emmys, coordinating in eye-catching all-black outfits while celebrating Gomez’s nominations for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Comedy Series for ‘Only Murders in the Building’.

‘Emilia Pérez’, a Spanish-language musical film directed by French filmmaker Jacques Audiard, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May, where it won two awards, including Best Actress for its ensemble cast. The film follows four remarkable women in Mexico, exploring their journeys toward happiness. It features Rita (played by Saldaña), an undervalued lawyer, who helps the formidable cartel leader Emilia fake her death to live authentically.
Gomez has been actively promoting the film in style. Earlier this month, she attended the Toronto Film Festival premiere in a black sequin dress adorned with rosettes by Rodarte, accessorized with jewelry from Tiffany & Co. During the event, she spoke with PEOPLE about her character Jessi Del Monte, who is married to drug cartel leader Emilia Pérez and aims to help her live her truth.

Gomez expressed pride in portraying a character that resonates with her identity and Latinx communities in America. ‘Emilia Pérez’ is set to hit theatres on 1st November and will be available for Netflix streaming starting 13th November.
