Selena Gomez Surprises Fans at High School Volleyball Game
Selena Gomez recently surprised fans by attending a high school volleyball game in Telluride, Colorado, while in town for the Telluride Film Festival, where she was promoting her movie ‘Emilia Pérez’.
‘The Only Murder’s in the Building star couldn’t resist the invitation after spotting a sign made by fans asking her to come to the game.
Sharing her experience on Instagram, Gomez wrote, “They asked!! Couldn’t help it, it’s my first time in Telluride!” Her post included a photo of the bright orange note pinned to a bulletin board, addressed to her with a request to sing the National Anthem at one of their home games, complete with hearts and a coach’s email.
Although Gomez didn’t sing, she made a memorable entrance into the school’s gym, greeted by enthusiastic fans.
Gomez interacted with the crowd, explaining, “I saw the sign and so I had to come,” which was met with laughter and cheers. She took the time to take a group photo with the volleyball team and signed autographs, leaving a lasting impression on the students and faculty alike.
Her visit didn’t go unnoticed by fellow celebrities, who praised her gesture. Zoe Saldaña commented, “The kindest heart indeed 🥹,” while Ashley Park added, “This is so sweet ❤️.” Gomez’s boyfriend Benny Blanco also expressed his admiration, posting, “❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍.”
