SEVENTEEN Hits Big with Slick New Song: ‘HOME;RUN’

SEVENTEEN stuns in new comeback

K-Pop boy group, SEVENTEEN, have made their landing on the music scape yet again, this year. And, this time around, they’ve arrived with a slick new title track – ‘HOME;RUN’. Complete with retro sets, charismatic choreography and a groovy arrangement, the boys are primed for success. In addition, the track finds its home in their brand new mini album, “; [Semicolon]”.

‘HOME;RUN’ was previously teased with an array of visuals and visualisers in the lead up to the final release. Further, this project serves as the follow up to their early 2020 release, “Heng:garae”, another mini album from SEVENTEEN. And, while the group’s popularity and success back home is indisputable, it would seem that they’ve hit it big this time around. “; [Semicolon]” hit 1.1 million pre-orders, their highest ever pre-save number.

Led by the title track, ‘HOME;RUN’ the mini album is home to other new works like ‘Do Re Mi’, ‘HEY BUDDY’, ‘Light a Flame’, and more. Further, the project comprises of 6 new songs.

‘HOME;RUN’, produced by members of SEVENTEEN, delivers a message of freedom and unapologetic individuality to their fans. Arranged by Woozi, BUMZU, and Nmore and written by Woozi, BUMZU, Vernon, and Seungkwan, the track reaches fans as a ray of hope in a difficult time, in the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, fans can rejoice in yet another addictive addition to their discography as the arrangement follows a retro, swing-style roove sonically. And, accompanying the ear-worm is hard-hitting choreography unique to the group. Further, the boys star in a cinematic music video, featuring elaborate sets and slick charm. All in all, SEVENTEEN has hit a ‘homerun’ with this comeback.
