SEVENTEEN To Debut Their First-Ever English-Language Single

In April, SEVENTEEN will release an English-language single ahead of their full-length album, which will be released in May. Pledis Entertainment, the boyband’s management company, stated on 24th March to South Korean news portal OSEN that the K-pop group will release a pre-release single next month.

The next song will be the boyband’s debut English-language track, performed by all 13 members. Sub-units and solo members of the group have already released English-language tracks, such as Vernon and Joshua’s ‘2 Minus 1’ off the group’s most recent mini-album ‘Attacca,’ which was released in May, and Woozi’s solo mixtape ‘Ruby.’

The upcoming release will be SEVENTEEN’s first domestic return in 2022, after ‘Attacca’ by seven months.

The next album will be the group’s fourth full-length studio album, following nearly three years after their previous release, ‘An Ode,’ which was released in September 2019.

Meanwhile, Chinese member The8 has released a new Chinese-language solo track titled 海城  (Hai Cheng), which was his first solo release this year and is named after the singer’s hometown of Hai Cheng City in China’s Liaoning province.

The new song follows ‘Side By Side,’ which was released in both Chinese and Korean in April 2021 and was the follow-up to his 2020 single ‘Falling Down,’ which was released a year after his debut solo track ‘Dreams Come True.’
