Shots Fired and Returned: A Grande and Davidson Story

Ariana Grande has found a new title recently. She has been declared a “fair game” by her ex-boyfriend/ ex-fiance. This story gathers gravity when you consider that her ex is Pete Davidson, a long standing Saturday Night Live comedian and the star of the new Netflix stand-up special, ‘Pete Davidson: Alive From New York’. So, it’s no surprise that neither of them are going to be holding back any punches, given the personal inspiration Grande draws from her life on a regular basis. And given, well, what Davidson does for a living.

ecently, Grande made a remark about how her relationship with Pete was an “amazing distraction” and even had a song named after him. So, of course the comedian came hurling with both barrels ready. In the Netflix special he makes very clear remarks about Ariana’s appearance on the Vogue cover. “Could you imagine if I did that?,” he starts. “My career would be over tomorrow if I spray painted myself brown and hopped on the cover of Vogue magazine and just started shitting on my ex. Can you imagine if I did that shit?,” came the attack to the sound of roaring laughter. The comment about the spray paint is an apparent remark about Ariana appearing with darkened skin on the cover of Vogue, along with a full interview.

Her darkened skin colour has gathered a lot of hate in the past from other stars and blogs, but coming from an ex — this has got to hurt.
