Skrillex Releases New Track ‘Leave Me Like This’ With Bobby Raps

Skrillex dropped his new single ‘Leave Me Like This’ with Bobby Raps. He teased the song shortly before its release. The track is expected to be on a new double album, which is likely to be put out this year.

The producer and DJ recently collaborated on ‘Way Back’ with Pink Pantheress and Trippie Redd and on ‘Rumble’ with Four Tet and Fred Again. ‘Recess’ is his only full length record which was released in 2014. 

Skrillex has hinted at new releases for a long time, as he has regularly told fans that he will be releasing “albums” in due time. 

Following a 2 year span with no new releases, Skrillex dropped 4 singles in 2021: ‘Butterflies’ with Four Tet and Starrah, ‘Too Bizarre’ with Swae Lee and Siiickbrain, ‘Supersonic (My Existence)’ with Noisa, Josh Pan and Dylan Brady and ‘Don’t Go’ with Justin Bieber and Don Toliver.

In 2013 Skrillex, whose real name is Sonny Moore, joined hands with fellow DJ and producer Diplo to form Jack Ü. The duo then went on to release an eponymous debut album, played at sold-out shows and even won multiple Grammy awards. 

Skrillex, who recently celebrated his 35th birthday, spoke about his absence from music earlier this week. He described 2022 as “the toughest year of my life” and that he had “no drive and purpose for the first time in my life”.

Since the news of Skrillex’s comeback, the DJ has played three last-minute shows with Four Tet and Fred Again, where other Skrillex songs were previewed.
