Sky Ferreira Used To Be Managed By Elton John

Elton John reportedly worked as Sky Ferreira’s manager and collaborated with the pop diva before the release of her 2012 EP, ‘Ghost.’

Along with Charli XCX and Grimes, Ferreira was featured on the cover of V Magazine in 2012, and John conducted an interview with her. In a recent interview with V, Ferreira explained how that occurred, and started by saying that he used to work with her and managed her. She said that he started managing her right before the track ‘Everything Is Embarrassing’, came out and said that it was great to have him by her side because everyone else in the label was scared of him.

Ferreira made a comeback in May with her first brand-new song in more than three years. Check out the track below:

Also, Ferreira provided an update on her second album, ‘Masochism.’ The singer’s follow-up to her 2013 debut LP ‘Night Time, My Time’ has been teased intermittently for more than five years, but she recently said that ‘it’s practically done for the most part, it just needs some bits redone.’ Basically, it’s just the finishing touches.

Ferreira performed in London last month as a part of the Meltdown event, which Grace Jones organised.

Speaking to V Magazine, she explained that she literally had ‘Masochism’ in her mind since 2014, and that it’s gone through a lot of different phases of what it should be but she’s not very happy that it took this long. She also said that she wasn’t allowed to release anything.
