‘Smile 2’ Full Trailer: Naomi Scott Faces a Terrifying Fate—Will She Fight or Surrender?

Naomi Scott plunges into the chilling world of Smile as she confronts the horrors of the recurring smile curse in ‘Smile 2’. Paramount Pictures has unveiled the final trailer, giving fans a glimpse of the intense new instalment where Scott, as a pop star, faces terrifying and inexplicable events.

The original ‘Smile’ film was a box office success, grossing nearly $217 million. The first instalment starred Sosie Bacon and Kyle Gallner as Rose Cotter and Joel, respectively. In the sequel, Scott’s character, global pop sensation Skye Riley, is set to experience eerie and disturbing occurrences as she prepares for a new world tour.

According to the film’s synopsis, “About to embark on a new world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley begins to experience increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events.” It continues, “Overwhelmed by the escalating horrors and pressures of fame, she must face her dark past to regain control of her life before it spirals out of control.”

As the trailer unfolds, Scott’s character seeks out a master who might be able to halt the paranormal activities. Following his guidance, she contemplates ending her life to escape the curse. 

However, things take a darker turn as the trailer concludes with Scott confronting the sinister entity behind the smile curse, promising plenty of jump scares and psychological terror throughout the film.

Gage, appearing on the Jess Cagle show, revealed that the evil entity from the first film continues its terrifying curse in this sequel. He described the smile as “so creepy” and admitted that the combination of horror and gore is particularly unsettling for him, stating, “I have a weak stomach too. I’m a wimp.”
