Social Isolation? How About social Live Stream

Diplo has announced that he will be doing live stream DJ sets as he is on a self imposed quarantine. He is the saviour we need right now!! Championing self isolation amidst the Corona scare , he has managed to maintain a Zen vibe among his fans.

He assured everyone that he would continue to make music from the confines of his home! Well we guess some alone time does get the creative and innovative juices flowing for many artists!

This comes after the cancellation of several concerts by various artists due to the ongoing pandemic crisis. Diplo revealed that he will be hosting live streams from his house. The DJ and producer also live streamed from his house on Sunday 15th.

About the project ironically titled “Corona Sabbath” he said “While we’re all in self-imposed quarantine and I’m grounded from playing shows I am going to get creative and make up random sets and shows live from my house.”

If anything else, the livestream was an easy way to take our collective minds off of the looming quarantines as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Many artists including Charli XCX and Lady Gaga have been promoting self isolation. Lady Gaga went on to say that isolation is the biggest favour you can do for others. Charli XCX has started posting dairy entries of her daily thoughts to help her cope with a sense of purposelessness
