Speculations Rise Over Khalid’s Future In Music

Khalid, the “Talk” hit maker was a guest on “The Ellen Show” where he spoke about his collaboration with Billie Eilish. The artist said that he knew from the start that she’d make it big in the industry. In 2018, Khalid teamed up with Eilish for their track “Lovely” which was featured on the popular show “13 Reasons Why”.

He said that from the moment he heard her voice he knew that she was going to be a star. Khalid said that from the moment their producer, Finneas heard the song, he believed in it!

The R n B singer is also rumored to have an album coming out later this year. In Sony’s latest financial statement, the artists name is listed under “Selected Upcoming Releases over the next six months”.

The artist was set to tour from March 24 to April 14 in various cities but has now announced a postponed date to all performances due to the Coronavirus pandemic. As a precautionary measure many artists have resorted to cancellation of large concerts as well including BTS, the Kpop boy band.

Khalid has already released two singles over the past few months called “Up All Night” and “Eleven”. He also teased a new collab coming out soon with Disclosure. The info got Khalid fans drooling already though there was no specific release date was announced.

All new projects would follow up his 2019 album “Free Spirit”, which earned him No.1 on the Billboard 200. “Free spirit” was his second studio album via RCA Records, which is a follow up to his EP “Suncity”. He also announced the release of a short film directed by Emil Nava to accompany the album. The film will be released on April 3rd. We hope that Khalid puts out some great music this year!
