T.I Releases ‘Ring’ With Young Thug

At the stroke of midnight on September 11, 2020, T.I dropped a killer new single with Young Thug titled ‘Ring’. This record treats fans to some fantastic lyrics paired with killer beats. 

Even though there have recently been a number of surprise releases from artists around the world this number from T.I was expected. A few days prior to its release, the Atlanta-born rapper teased the track on Instagram. Although the video didn’t tell us much, it was captioned “Uh-OhhhMidnight All Platforms” Well, we now know what that means, don’t we?

Fans could only speculate with that teaser post, but T.I did not disappoint. Following the release of the anthem, the ‘Whatever You Like’ singer put out a promotional post that featured just a little snippet from the track along with Young Thug.

In 2019, T.I starred as a judge for Netflix’s show “Rhythm + Flow”. The show was a ten-episode season that was based on the premise of finding and mentoring America’s next Hip-Hop/R&B star. Chance the Rapper and Cardi B are also featured as permanent members on the judge’s table for the show. Netflix recently excited fans with the announcement that a second season is on the way. 

It’s not the first time that these two superstars have created magic together. On T.I’s most recent album titled ‘Dime Trap’, Young Thug featured alongside Swizz Beats on another gem titled ‘The Weekend‘.

Young Thug’s last full-length studio album titled ‘So Much Fun’ dropped in 2019. He followed that up with an incredible mixtape with Chris Brown titled ‘Slime&B’. 

Young Thug, who is born as Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., has been putting in the work all year, and fans are sitting on the edge of their seats in anticipation of new music. If this tune was anything to go by then I can’t wait to see what’s to come.
