Beyoncé recently performed at the inauguration of a five-star hotel in Dubai, which was her first headlining performance in more than four years!
Influencers and media were invited to join Beyoncé earlier in the week in Dubai for the launch of the Atlantis The Royal hotel. Even though there was no formal confirmation that Beyoncé would be performing, a ‘performance of a lifetime’ was promised.
However, she performed live for the first time since December 2018. Beyoncé began the private performance with ‘Last’, ‘XO’, and ‘Flaws And All’ before performing songs from her back catalogue.
Several songs from Beyoncé’s ‘Lion King: The Gift’ soundtrack made their live debuts, including ‘Otherside,’ ‘Spirit,’ and ‘Bigger,’ while Blue Ivy Carter joined her mother onstage for ‘Brown Skin Girl’.
Beyoncé sang ‘Drunk in Love’ at the show’s grand finale, with fireworks blazing all around her and an elevated stage emerging from a fountain.
According to reports, cameras and cell phones were not permitted at the concert, but it appears a few attendees defied the rule. See the whole setlist and fan-shot videos below:

Although it was Beyoncé’s first performance since the release of her album ‘Renaissance’ in 2022, none of the 16 songs from that record were played during the performance.
Through an auction last year, Beyoncé appeared to confirm a world tour in 2023 in support of her latest album, ‘Renaissance’. According to reports, her band, dancers and crew are required to pass background checks before travelling. However, no confirmed live dates have yet been announced.
