Taylor cuts a Cat

Taylor Swift got a Cat-astrophic birthday cake for her 30th birthday! The star celebrated her birthday with friends at home this Saturday and fans got a glimpse of her cake through an Instagram post. She bid adieu to her twenties and embraced her inner cat lady with a hyper realistic cake themed cake.

The cake featured Taylor’s three furry babies Olivia, Meredith, and Benjamin in an oddly realistic tone. It almost seemed as though the cats were mummified and shoved into the cake with flowers, if you look closely you can see one of them sticking out a paw in an attempt to claw its way out of the monstrosity.

“Fur real guys this was my cake” she captioned the snap. “@taylorswift13birthday cake is actual life goals! #catcake” one fan tweeted. “Best cake ever? Best cake ever,” added another. A video showing Taylor struggling to blow out her candles has made its way around and even she freaked out when she saw her babies in the frosting!

She celebrated her birthday on Friday, singing at iHeartRadio’s Jingle ball. Their cake featured a pink frosted digital printed three tier cake with her cat’s pictures on it. This cake was far less deranged than her cake on Saturday.

Swift took to Instagram to thank her fans for supporting her throughout her struggles, even during the recent Scooter Braun case. She commented, “Honestly, spending my 30th with the fans who have made my life what it is at jingle ball, then throwing the most aggressive holiday party known to womankind… I just.. seriously feel so lucky for you all and will spend forever trying to find ways to say thank you. *cries in Christmas tree*”

We still can’t figure out how people ate that cake because.. it seems genuinely terrifying.
