Taylor Lautner Embraces His Werewolf Roots in Exciting New Series
This time, Taylor Lautner is returning to the werewolf realm, but with a twist.
The ‘Twilight’ actress, well known for her role as Jacob Black in the popular movie series, will star in the upcoming series ‘Taylor Lautner: Werewolf Hunter’, which is presently being developed by Amazon MGM Studios. Produced by Tornante, the studio behind ‘BoJack Horseman’ and ‘Undone’, the program is helmed by Daisy Gardner as creator and showrunner.
The show promises to examine Lautner’s life since he left the spotlight following the 2012 premiere of ‘Breaking Dawn: Part 2’, however, a release date has not been set. According to the show’s synopsis, Lautner was getting ready for his actual vocation as a werewolf hunter, which was far more surprising than the fans’ and tabloids’ conjectures regarding his withdrawal from Hollywood.
He portrays a fictionalized version of himself in the series, joining a covert organization of werewolf trackers and using his special knowledge to aid in their downfall. He works as an actor in Hollywood by day, but at night he fights supernatural beings, including the ones that brought him fame. He is faced with an ironic problem as he balances his career, romance, and a battle to save the world: what happens when your most famous role turns into your worst enemy?

Using images of Variety’s post, Lautner verified the news on Instagram, saying, “Just when I thought I was out… they pull me back in.” While Lautner’s wife, Tay Lautner, expressed her satisfaction and excitement, his Twilight co-star Kellan Lutz congratulated him in the comments section. The series has been in development for a year, she revealed, and she commended her husband’s healing and growth over the past seven years, calling it an honour to see.
In the podcast ‘The Squeeze’, which the pair co-hosts, Lautner has been candid about his battles with body image throughout his ‘Twilight’ years. According to Tay, the show has profound significance and a lot of similarities to his own experiences.
In response to his wife’s heartfelt statement, Lautner praised her assistance and stated that without her, none of it would have been possible.
