Taylor Purrs on 'Cats' Song

The American singer/ songwriter Taylor Swift shared a snippet of “Beautiful Ghosts”, the title tracks for “Cats".

The upcoming 2019 British- American musical fantasy film boasts an impressive star cast with Ian Mckellan, Jennifer Hudson, Idris Elba, Jason Derulo, James Corden and Judi Dench alongside Swift. The song is written by Andrew Llyod Webber and Taylor Swift, with lyrics fairly relatable to Taylor’s narrative style of writing. She sings

On the making of “Beautiful Ghosts” Swift said, “There was an ambition and aspiration to have an original song in the movie. Just very much this understanding of like, ‘Let’s write the best song we can.’”

The film, ”Cats” is set to release on 20th December. Meanwhile, the megastar is in the thick of an intense legal battle in light of her master's being bought over by her ex-label 'Big Machine Records'.
