Taylor Swift’s remarkable run came to an official end on 8th December with her final performance at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver as part of her breakthrough Eras Tour. Over the course of her career, the tour broke records, attracted over 10 million people, and enthralled millions of followers worldwide. It also brought in over $2 billion in ticket sales.
Throughout the evening, Swift thanked her supporters, referring to the tour as the most exciting period of her life. The sophisticated staging and emotional resonance of the Eras Tour changed live music experiences over its 152 performances across five continents since its beginning in March 2023.
With Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour rating as the second highest, the tour’s success was unprecedented, tripling the ticket sales revenue of any prior concert tour. During the last performance, Swift’s fans commemorated her impending 35th birthday, giving the historic occasion a more intimate feel.
