Swifties are Taylor Swift’s biggest weapons! They went on the offensive after Emma Laird posted Joe Alwyn’s photograph on her Instagram account. Laird is filming ‘The Britalist’ with Alwyn in Budapest, Hungary and posted a photo dump from the set. This is where she also posted a candid snap of Alwyn riding a scooter and smiling.
“Moments in March,” she captioned the post with a heart emoji.
Swifties took to the comments and raised accusations leading to Laird turning off her comments section. Fans then commented on her previous posts saying, “We know you’ve been liking posts about taylor and joe’s breakup” and “There’s no way she didn’t know what she was doing.” “Alexa play better than revenge,” one particular user referenced to Swift’s song.
Other fans apologized on behalf of the fandom, and reminded trolls of the similar and unwanted abuse Swift endured before she presented her narrative in ‘Reputation’.
“As a swiftie… I do NOT claim the mean swifties in these comments,” one wrote. A second commented, “Y’all need to turn this energy into crafts and make some friendship bracelets. The Swiftie fandom is not built on hate and bullying. Leave this poor girl alone.”
No details about ‘The Brutalist’ have been shared yet, apart from the fact that the Brady Corbet-directed feature will also star Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones and Guy Pearce. On the other hand, Swift is on her ‘The Eras Tour’ this weekend with three consecutive shows at NRG Stadium in Houston.
