Taylor Swift Fuels 'Reputation' TV Rumours With Bold Red Boots at Chiefs Opener

Taylor Swift’s appearance at the Kansas City Chiefs’ season opener has sparked renewed speculation about her next release, ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version)’. Swift attended the game with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, wearing an outfit that fans believe hints at the upcoming project, as noted by Life & Style. 

Her striking red Giuseppe Zanotti thigh-high leather boots, paired with a denim Versace corset top and shorts, drew attention. The red boots reminded fans of a pair Swift wore in the 2017 music video for ‘Look What You Made Me Do’, the lead single from her ‘Reputation’ album.

Social media quickly lit up with comparisons between her game-day look and the music video, fueling rumours that Reputation (Taylor’s Version) is on the way. "THE REPUTATION BOOOOOOOOOOOTS," one fan excitedly wrote on X, linking Swift’s look at the game to her past Reputation era. Another added, "Red boots, look what you made me do, it's official, Reputation TV is coming this month." 

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the release, expecting Swift to drop her re-recorded albums as part of her ongoing project to reclaim her music. Speculation around ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version)’ began in 2023, with fans hoping for an announcement at the Grammy Awards.

However, Swift surprised everyone with a new album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, which became a major hit. Still, anticipation for ‘Reputation’ remains high. During Swift’s European tour, she performed ‘I Did Something Bad’ while incorporating snake-like movements on stage, which fuelled further excitement. 

Snake imagery has been closely tied to the ‘Reputation ‘era since its original release, keeping fans on the lookout for any subtle clues of what’s to come.
