It's clear that Taylor Swift enjoys Sabrina Carpenter's song ‘Espresso’!
Swift asked Carpenter to join her onstage for an unexpected duet at her New Orleans Eras Tour performance on 26th October. Swift, 34, asked Carpenter, 25, if she could sing the popular phrase from Carpenter's song ‘Espresso,’ mid-performance. Swift was seen questioning, "The first thing I was wondering... Can I do it?" in a TikTok fan video. “You can do it!” Carpenter passionately said.
Swift then launched into the song, and the audience joined in as she sang, "I'm working late, 'cause I'm a singer." Swift then seamlessly moved into her own song, ‘Is It Over Now?’ from 1989 (Taylor's Version), which featured a coffee-themed lyric: "Let's fast forward to three hundred takeout coffees later." Swift continued with the remaining line from ‘Espresso.’

The two continued the mashup by fusing Carpenter's song ‘Please Please Please’ with the other songs during the acoustic part of the performance, giving the New Orleans audience a genuinely unique experience.
Swift even made a phone call to Carpenter prior to their duet, which was caught on camera and posted on X. "We all love you so much," Swift teased, in reference to Carpenter's absence. Swift urged her to join immediately when Carpenter jokingly replied that she might there in "five seconds." To the astonishment of the audience, Carpenter soon made a spectacular appearance by emerging from under the stage.
Given that Carpenter had previously opened for Swift's concerts in Mexico, Brazil, and Australia during the tour, the performance was particularly memorable for the two of them.
