Taylor Swift on Netflix!

Taylor Swift has come out with a Netflix original documentary that will look at the singer’s humble beginnings. Fans first got a hint from her brawl with Scooter Brawn where she first mentioned that she wasn’t being allowed to use her music in this documentary. “[They]have declined the use of my older music or performance footage for this project, even though there is no mention of either of them or Big Machine Records anywhere in the film,” Swift initially claimed.

The documentary titled Taylor Swift
Miss Americana is set to debut at the 2020 Sundance festival in Utah. Many speculate that this move would give major credentials to the piece which would enable its nomination for the Academy Award. The documentary is an in depth look into her life and her latest album “Lover” , aided by archival footage .

According to the festival’s programming lineup, the upcoming documentary directed by Emmy Award winner Lana Wilson (The Departure), and produced by Academy Award Winner Morgan Neville-is “a raw and emotionally revealing look at one of the most iconic artists of our time during a transformational period in her life as she learns to embrace her role not only as a songwriter and performer, but as a woman harnessing the full power of her voice.”

Taylor Made a subtle statement in reference to the recent drama in her opening act of the AMAs by performing “The Man”. She was dressed in a white outfit with the names of her previous studio name in Bold black letters, almost replicating that of a prison uniform and font. Swift was then joined by young girls donning the same white outfit with her album titles while dancing alongside her. She continued her performance by singing a medley of her hit songs, “Love Story,” “I Knew You Were Trouble,” “Blank Space,” “Shake It Off” and “Lover.”

Netflix gave fans a glimpse of the documentary through a still of Taylor dressed in gold in an elevator. We haven’t got more context to this image yet .. but heck we can’t wait for the documentary!!!
