Swift pleasantly surprised her audience by joining the HAIM sisters on stage at London’s O2 Arena for a performance of their song ‘Gasoline’ together as well as a mash-up of Swift’s own song, ‘Love Story.’ After joining the band, Swift said that it had been a long time since she was on stage and it felt really nice.

The concert marked the conclusion of HAIM’s ‘One More Haim’ UK tour, which also included stops in Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Nottingham and Cardiff.

A new standalone single by HAIM called ‘Lost Track’ was released earlier this year, along with a Paul Thomas Anderson-directed music video. The sisters praised the final song and its accompanying visuals for being ‘off the cuff’ and ‘extremely collaborative.’

In the meantime, Aaron Dessner of ‘The National’ created a brand-new song by Swift titled ‘Carolina.’ The song serves as the theme for Olivia Newman’s newest film, ‘Where The Crawdads Sing’, which Reese Witherspoon executive produces.

Witherspoon claims that Swift wrote the song while working on her 2020 album ‘Folklore’ after reading the 2018 Delia Owens novel of the same name, which is the basis for the movie.
