Another song title from Taylor Swift’s upcoming album, ‘Midnights,’ has been revealed.
The musician continued her TikTok series titled ‘Midnights Mayhem With Me,’ where she debuted a brand-new song called ‘Midnight Rain’. Swift once more selected the music at random when introducing it, by spinning a cage of balls and selecting one.
The release date for ‘Midnights’ is set for 21st October. While accepting ‘Video of the Year’ at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, Swift revealed the album. Shortly after, she sent a message to her fans explaining the album.
“This is a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams,” Swift wrote at the time. “The floors we pace and the demons we face. For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching – hoping that just maybe, when the clock strikes twelve… we’ll meet ourselves.”
Taylor Swift recently disclosed that frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff contributed to the project. The singer-songwriter is also releasing the album on four different coloured vinyl pressings, including the ‘Lavender,’ ‘Jade Green,’ ‘Blood Moon’ and ‘Mahogany’ versions. The clock face will be created using the back covers of the various vinyl copies.
Swift’s most recent studio albums, ‘Folklore’ and ‘Evermore,’ were released in 2020. The first two of her re-recorded albums, ‘Fearless (Taylor’s Version)’ and ‘Red (Taylor’s Version),’ were made available last year.
