Taylor Swift Rocks Iconic Red Lip and Snake Necklace in Virtual Speech for 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards

During her appearance at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, Taylor Swift adopted her characteristic look.

 The 35-year-old singer accepted the coveted Tour of the Century Award for her record-breaking Eras Tour and thanked fans in a poignant video message, despite not being able to attend the ceremony in Los Angeles.

 Swift wore her typical red lipstick, which has become her go-to look, and a long-sleeved black top with a peek of a checkered skirt waistline while she held her trophy against a brick wall in the video.

Her jewelry selection, however, was what truly drew admirers' attention.  Social media users were instantly excited when they saw the snake-shaped jewelry she wore around her neck.  Further rumours that ‘Reputation’ (Taylor's Version) would be coming soon were stoked by the snake, a symbol strongly associated with her ‘Reputation’ era.

 The necklace also appeared to mimic an ouroboros, which is a snake biting its own tail and represents rebirth and cyclical transformation, according to fans.  This was seen by many as a shrewd hint at her further reinvention and the planned re-release of ‘Reputation’.

From snake-covered jumpsuits on her Eras Tour to her dramatic Versace dress at the 2023 VMAs and her snake-themed Gucci gown at the 2024 Golden Globes, Swift has regularly incorporated snake imagery into her style.  Every appearance seems to add something new to the continuing story that relates to reputation.

Swift thanked her band, crew, and fellow travellers in her victory speech, expressing how much the medal meant to her.  She discussed how it has been meaningful to absorb the experience now that the tour is over and how the award came precisely two years after her first Eras Tour performance.

Swift released an exclusive video of her acoustic rendition of ‘Mirrorball’ from the tour's opening night in Glendale, Arizona, in 2023 as a unique present to her fans.

Swift was honoured in multiple categories, including Pop Artist of the Year, artist of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Music Video, and Best Lyrics for ‘Fortnight’ with Post Malone, in addition to earning Tour of the Century.  In addition, she was nominated for Favourite Tour Tradition, Favourite Tour Style, and Favorite Onscreen Performance for ‘Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour’ (Taylor's Version) movie. Travis Kelce's remarkable entrance during her London gig earned her the title of favourite surprise guest.
