Taylor Swift Swallowed a Bug While Performing in Chicago, Calls it ‘Delicious’

Taylor Swift ingested a bug while performing during the current Eras Tour at Soldier Field in Chicago.

When Swift muttered, “I just swallowed a bug,” she was midway through her Evermore set, facing away from the audience and covering her face. She was about to begin the song ‘Tolerate It’ at the time. She made an attempt to brush it off by declaring that she would “be fine.” She shook her head, trying to spit the bug out, “It’s just so stupid,” she remarked.

“Delicious,” she deadpanned.

“Oh, god,” Swift stated. “Is there any chance none of you saw that?” She started laughing and gagged after that.

“This is gonna happen again tonight,” Swift suggested. “There’s so many bugs. There’s 1,000 of them.”

She also handled a mic issue politely and with a smile earlier in the evening. She attempted to begin ‘Lover,’ but due to a problem, nobody could hear her. Before a stage technician stood next to her to replace her sparkly mic with a standard one, she attempted to adjust and troubleshoot the microphone on her own.

“All right, guys, let’s start this over again. None of that happened … Let’s take a second in our memories, rewind ’em back, none of that happened. We’re back to 36 seconds ago,” she remarked.

There were a few mishaps during the Eras Tour’s stop in Chicago. Swift was laughing at herself on Saturday night because her “brain broke”: she attempted to bring a cute little fan up on stage with her during ’22,’ but quickly realised this was a bad idea.
