Taylor Swift Takes Us Back With A New ‘Love Story’
Taylor Swift has not left us waiting for too long! She’s back to tease us with a new release. But this time, it’s not a completely original track but a re-recorded hit, ‘Love Story’. The singer took to her social media to share a clip which features her re-recorded song but just a snippet of it. Keeping it a tad bit spicy, isn’t she?
Swift confirms that the new re-records have not been done yet. So, wondering how did we get blessed by a snippet? Well, let’s all just thank Ryan Reynolds, her close friend and an actor. So, he requested Taylor to share a bit of the song for a commercial he’s written. And, she agreed. We are thanking the music lords, are you too?
The commercial is for a dating site which matches the Devil himself and the year 2020, perfect pair, aren’t they? However, what makes the Ad even better, is Taylor Swift’s song in the backgroud. But, let’s just put it out there, the one’s who heard it, know there’s hardly any difference between the two. Maybe just the fact that she’s 30 years old now. But none the less, ‘Love Story’ is an all-time favourite.
Taylor Swift captioned the clip, “Okay so while my new re-records are NOT done, my friend @VancityReynolds asked me if he could use a snippet of one for a LOLsome commercial he wrote so…here’s a sneak peak of ‘Love Story’! Working hard to get the music to you soon!!”
The Reason Behind Re-Recording Of Old Tracks…
Wonder why the world is being blessed by her, all over again? Or maybe, why you’d have to download these songs again? Well, here’s why! All this is happening after the Scooter Braun sold 100% of her music, videos, album art to a private equity company called Shamrock Holdings, without her knowledge.
While we wait for Taylor to drop ‘Love Story’, you can also be sure to hear more re-recorded tracks. She’s all ready to drop 2008’s Fearless, 2010’s Speak Now, 2012’s Red and 2014’s 1989. And, all of this is taking place from the same recording studios, she sang for the first time. That’s a bit sweet, we can all nod to that.
Well, that’s drama but we can expect that to follow her. However, the change which is going to be brought by all this is surely something fans are looking forward to. Or, maybe not. You tell us!
