Taylor Swift Tops The Pop Airplay Chart With ‘Anti-Hero’

Taylor Swift has been making headlines for the last two months with her new album ‘Midnights’, and it is no shock that she has topped the charts yet again with ‘Anti-Hero’. This makes her the first woman ever, and the second artist after Maroon 5, who has songs leading in charts from the 2000s, 2010s and 2020s. Previously, when ‘Anti-Hero’ debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, she became the first solo artist ever to have 5 songs entering the tally on top.
The singer’s recent hit ‘Anti-Hero’ has topped the Billboard publication’s Pop Airplay chart, which makes it her 10th song to do so. This makes Taylor Swift one of the most influential singers of our time. She is merely one number-one song away from tying the record for the most number ones on the Pop Airplay chart. As of now, Katy Perry and Rihanna hold the record with 11 each. Pop Airplay chart, which started in 1992, ranks the week’s most popular songs through radio airplay detections.
This is not the first time that Taylor Swift has made it to the Pop Airplay chart. Previously, Swift has made it to the No. 1 rank with ‘Love Story’, with songs from ‘Fearless’, one from ‘Red’, five from ‘1989’ and two from ‘Reputation’. Swift is now ready to take over the charts with her ‘Midnights’ album, where ‘Anti-Hero’ is just the beginning of a series of achievements in her name.
