Taylor Swift’s Bug-Swallowing Incident on Her Eras Tour Paves The Way For a New Cocktail

Taylor Swift is now the inspiration behind the newest cocktail at Replay Lincoln Park in Chicago in addition to releasing record-breaking albums and tours.
Swift accidently swallowed a bug on stage during the first weekend of June when she performed in Chicago as part of her ‘Eras Tour’, and the incident quickly went viral. The 12-time Grammy winner joked, “Oh delicious. Oh God … Is there any chance none of you saw that? It’s fine, it’s fine … I swallowed it.”
Swift’s instantly recognisable moment will now live on in the form of a beverage that goes well with her other ‘champagne problems.’ A ‘Tay Tay Partay’ pop-up has been held at Replay Lincoln Park in honour of Swift’s appearances in Chicago. The pop-up will offer a new ‘Bad Bug’ cocktail to complement its regular menu of beverages inspired by Taylor Swift. The ‘Bad Bug’ cocktail with gummy worm garnish contains vodka, tamarind, chilli pepper, watermelon, pineapple and ginger beer.
Outside of novelty drinks, 2023 has really favoured Taylor Swift. Swift recently revealed the Latin American leg of her Eras Tour! ‘Karma,’ the most recent radio single from her enormously popular ‘Midnights’ album, reached a new height of No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 on the chart with Ice Spice’s help.
After 40 top 10 entries, Swift has nine No. 1 hits on the Hot 100. She first became a leader in 2012 with the song ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.’ The ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’ singer has 11 No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 chart, running from 2008’s ‘Fearless’ to last year’s ‘Midnights’.
