Taylor Swift’s Cat Benjamin Button Completes Four Years of Being Adopted, Swifties Celebrate!

Swifties are celebrating four years since Taylor Swift adopted her sweet, blue-eyed kitten, Benjamin Button from the set of her song ‘ME!’.

“And then there were #fouryearsofBenji!” read the official account. This was posted alongside a series of photos in which Swift is cuddling with her cat.

“He’s a good boy,” the same account wrote in another post. Immediately after, the hashtag #fouryearsofBenji started trending on Twitter.

A clip named ‘ME! Behind The Scenes: The Story of Benjamin Button’ was shared by Swift after ‘ME!’ was released. The video shows the process of meeting and subsequently adopting her third cat. She collaborated with Brendon Urie for the same song.

“Hi honey, you’re beautiful,” she is seen talking to baby Benji in the video. She then asks the kitty’s handler if she can have him and of course, the answer was a yes. “Whenever I watch the video, I’ll be like, ‘That’s the first time I saw him,’” Swift said to Urie.
