Kicking off 2024, Taylor Swift has added another remarkable achievement to her list. After the premiere of ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ in U.S. theatres, Swift's film has now secured the title of the highest-grossing concert and documentary film in box office history, earning a staggering global revenue of over $261.6 million.

This accomplishment comes just a week after the debut of ‘The Eras Tour’ in China, where it amassed a total of $8.7 million. In the realm of concert films, ‘The Eras Tour’ now stands as the highest-grossing, surpassing the previous record held by Michael Jackson's ‘This Is It’, which earned $261.2 million globally.

Undoubtedly, a significant portion of the overall revenue can be credited to its groundbreaking opening weekend. In October, upon its release, ‘The Eras Tour’ raked in an impressive $92.8 million in North America and an additional $30.7 million internationally, culminating in a cumulative total of $123.5 million.

It also surpassed the 2011 film Justin Bieber ‘Never Say Never’, which garnered $73 million during the corresponding period. On the domestic front, it claimed the title of the second-largest October debut ever, trailing only behind the 2019 release of Joker’.
