Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ Tour Ticket Sales Delayed Due to ‘Historically Unprecedented Demand’

Swifties fought tooth and nail to get tickets for Taylor Swift’s upcoming ‘Eras’ Tour on the same day she received four Grammy nominations. In fact, during the tour’s inaugural presale, so many of them jammed Ticketmaster’s website hoping to get tickets, hence the business was forced to postpone a few of its onsales due to widespread claims of site crashes and technical issues.
“A few updates on the Taylor Swift Eras Tour onsale,” read a statement posted to Ticketmaster’s official Twitter account. “There has been historically unprecedented demand with millions showing up to buy tickets for the TaylorSwiftTix Presale.”

“Hundreds of tickets have been sold,” it continued. “If you have already secured tickets, you are all set. If you are currently in a queue, please hang tight — queues are moving and we are working to get fans through as quickly as possible.”
The ‘All Too Well’ pop artist added 25 extra concerts to her 27 initial dates in the past few weeks as a result of the enormous demand for ‘Eras’ Tour tickets that was already evident prior to the ticket sale.
