Taylor Swift’s Take On Making Films After ‘All Too Well’

Taylor Swift surprised fans with a live performance of her song ‘All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version)’ at the Tribeca Film Festival on 11th June.

The singer was in New York’s Beacon Theatre to talk about her short film ‘All Too Well’. Swift explained her approach to being a filmmaker during an hour-long talk with Mike Mills, which included a screening of the 15-minute movie.

The actress also spoke to the audience about the video’s premise which stars Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien, stating that she had to give herself permission to make a film about the period of becoming a young woman at such a vulnerable age.

Taylor also looked at how the film’s many shots conveyed the ups and downs of the characters’ relationship. Swift thanked fans for their support of the 10-minute version of ‘All Too Well,’ saying that it was only released because her fans wanted to hear it so bad. Swift also stated that she would like to do more films in the future.

Swift, in the meantime, received an honorary degree from New York University last month and delivered the commencement speech for the class of 2022.
