John said that the recording was “suffused with an unapologetic sense of sensuality and joy, informed by the complete vulnerability of grief, praise and healing” before it was released via Republic Records.

The 24-song album, ‘Legend’ has the previously-released singles ‘Honey’ with Long, ‘Dope’ with rapper JID and ‘All She Wanna Do’ with Saweetie. It is the follow-up to ‘Bigger Love’ from 2020, which peaked at No. 19 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The U.S. artist is every bit the legend; in 2018, he won an Emmy for his performance on NBC’s ‘Jesus Christ Superstar Live’, making him the youngest and first black male EGOT recipient. From 14th October to 29th October, he will perform at The Zappos Theatre at Planet Hollywood as part of the second leg of his Love in Las Vegas residency.
