The Avalanches Have Announced A New Album

The Avalanches have just dropped a bomb on their fans! The band is set to release their upcoming album, ‘We Will Always Love You’. Though the release date is not out yet, we have got the most amazing cover art, designed by Zawada.

The Avalanches have also commented about the sleeve feature being Ann Druyan, the Creative Director of the Voyager Golden Record Project. The inspiration behind the album has also been disclosed, it’s the “cosmic love story inspired this music”.

The Avalanches added, “In keeping with the album’s theme of everlasting love as an undying vibration, Ann’s image was run through a spectrograph, turned into sound, and back again. The image remains hidden, deep within the grooves of the music, for you to discover if you wish.”

The band continued, “An exploration of the vibrational relationship between light, sound and spirit, “We Will Always Love You” will be available for pre-order next week, with more details to follow soon.”

What’s Been Released Already From The Album?

Thought the tracklist has not been out yet, many tracks have come out this year. The Avalanches have dropped the title track which also was the first single from “We Will Always Love You”.

After that, ‘Running Red Lights‘ came out featuring Rivers Cuomo of Weezer and Pink Siifu. Followed by, ‘Wherever You Go’ which features Jamie XX, Neneh Cherry and Clypso. Then, ‘Reflecting Light’ came out with Sananda Maitreya and Vashti Bunyan.

Well, we honestly can’t wait for the album to release, judging by the songs which have dropped, it seems like it’s going to be a big one.
