The Grimes Neon Nights Event in Partnership with The Rocket League Has Begun

Rocket League has teamed up with artist Grimes to provide the new Neon Nights event to players, which includes event-specific toppers, decals, and more. Psyonix has partnered up with Grimes to deliver players a new Neon Nights themed event, which will run from 26th January until 8th February, and will include new challenges, Grimes inspired items and songs, the return of the limited-time Heatseeker Ricochet mode, and new Golden Moons.

Her new song ‘Shinigami Eyes,’ which is featured as part of the event, also released on 26th January. Grimes took part in an event on Rocket League’s Instagram Live organised by Athena to mark the commencement of the event. She talked about her new songs and the upcoming event throughout the live show.

The following are the new goods, songs, challenges, and features of the Neon Nights event:

  • New Event Challenges – Players will be able to unlock items such as the ‘Player of Games’ and ‘Shinigami Eyes’ player anthems, Grimes themed Gravitator and Space Queen toppers, a braided trail, Grimes Decal, Grimes Wheels, Grimes Player Banner, Fireworks (Multichrome) Universal Decal, and Uncanny Boost by completing new event challenges.
  • Return of Heatseeker Ricochet — For the length of the event, the chaotic Heatseeker Ricochet limited time mode will be available.
  • Golden Moons – Earning Golden Moons allows players to access goods from the Impact, Nitro, and Overdrive item series.

Rocket League will also be celebrating the Lunar New Year with a free Year of the Tiger package for the duration of the Neon Nights event. The combo, which contains the Tiny Tiger Topper and Tyger Decal, is available in the item shop for players on any platform.
